Good Sportsmanship Weekend Program

Coaching Coaches has designed an extraordinarily effective program to address Good Sportsmanship regardless of your role in youth sports or youth activities:  player/participant, coach/leader, parent, or organization.

Faith-Based Good Sportsmanship Weekend

With a clear focus on Christianity, this weekend long program addresses the ever increasing concern about parent and fan sideline behavior. This single issue continues to gain national attention as parents and fans display unacceptable behavior toward officials, coaches, and in some cases, players.  Coaching Coaches Good Sportsmanship Weekend package is designed to help any organization directly address this issue. Depending on your specific needs, Coaching Coaches offers a variety of options for implementing this program: We can provide you with a pre-packaged kit designed to help you manage the program on your own, this kit includes all the necessary information to successfully conduct a Good Sportsmanship Weekend; we can facilitate the entire program for you at your facility; or, we can design a unique weekend program just for your organization.

Non-Faith Based Good Sportsmanship Weekend

This style offers all of the same great benefits as listed above, but without the focus on Christianity.

Once trained, the coaches and I met and were excited about implementing these new strategies.  After our next practice several parents commented that we were coaching differently and they liked our new style of coaching.” Jeremy, St. Louis, MO

Bill’s experience consistently shows that less than 10% of our coaches conduct a formal parent/player meeting at the beginning of the season.
