About the Founder
Meet Bill Bommarito
Bill has spent the last 50 years coaching, officiating, administrating, developing, and delivering educational programs for coaches and parents. Bill was a high school teacher and coach for several years and brought that experience to the youth level. Bill quickly saw the youth level could greatly benefit from his expertise as a professional educator. As a result, Bill developed three training programs:
- Coaching to Make a Positive Difference
- Positive Parent Participation
- Looking in the Mirror
He has taught over 105,000 coaches and parents and has received extraordinarily positive responses from those trained. The evaluations consistently include words and phrases such as “engaging”, “informative”, “entertaining”, “awesome”, “life-changing”, “can’t wait for the season to begin”, “I will be a better parent because of this training” and it goes on and on. With Bill’s positive approach to coaching, he has created better sporting experiences for thousands of children, parents, coaches, and organizations.
In April 2023, Bill released his book Beyond the Skills and Drills: The Keys to Successfully Coaching Youth Sports. The book is based off the above three training programs and can be used as in conjunction with the programs or as a stand-alone training option. It is available on Amazon as a book, audio book, or e-book.
